NEC Headsets are designed with comfort in mind and designed to
be worn during an entire business day. An office worker can spend anywhere from
25 to 40 hours a week in a static position working at a computer. NEC Headsets
are offered in several styles to ensure a good comfortable fit and to meet individual's
body size, cosmetic requirements and comfort.
NEC has seven modular-type headsets, both monaural and binaural,
and two pin-type headsets compatible with NEC Cordless/Wireless products. Monaural
style headsets cover one ear, Binaural covers both ears. Monaural headsets are
designed is for workers that do not want to be closed off from their surroundings.
Binaural headsets increase call clarity and prevent hearing fatigue by eliminating
ambient noise.
NEC Headsets are lightweight and are available in headband styles
worn over the head, ear bud styles worn in the ear, over the ear styles worn
over the ear. Convertible styles are also available that can be worn as a headband
or over the ear.
When you are dealing with a large volume of calls, every
fraction of a second is worth a great deal of revenue. Lifting and using the
receiver can be uncomfortable and time consuming. To maximize profits, the average
time an individual spends with a customer is closely monitored. When customers
and staff repeat themselves due to background noise, businesses lose money.
When individuals encounter background noise, they exacerbate the problem by
raising the volume on their headsets. When their headsets' volume is raised,
naturally they speak louder increasing background noise. This leads to the increased
volume of co-workers headsets' and speaking louder. The process builds until
eventually customers cannot distinguish between background noise and your voice.
Not only does this action distort the signal, it also creates what is known
as "temporary hearing fatigue". This industry concept basically means
that when you are exposed to loud sounds for extended periods of time, your
hearing (and therefore productivity) suffers.
An NEC headset completes your desktop solution providing comfort, reliability
and value all from a single manufacturer. |
