Introducing NEC Professional Services

As voice, data and video technologies have continued to evolve, so have the elements of the corporate networks and the decision-making processes for equipment purchases. In the past, corporate decisions were formed at the "recommender" level. These decisions were, what may be termed "network element decisions" or pieces of a network. The telecom manager made decisions on telecom, the IT manager made decisions on routers and network design. Today, the decision recommenders are voices in an overall corporate network decision. This process considers the weight of elements in the overall network "strategy". The corporate strategy is a top down means to facilitate and increase competitive advantage in their specific market and industry.

As decision processes shift, no single company, division or group can bring all of the expertise for all of the network elements to create a seamless network design. IT managers and other departmental managers, with their specific need and requirements, also do not understand the overall technology mix for the overall solution. Solutions are now developed by teams of selected vendors working together. However, the team members must position themselves in a network and solution space that complements their expertise and experience while, improving and expanding this space with strategic partnership alliances.

NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. is proud to introduce NEC Professional Services . This fee-based offering provides services in the United States and Canada. The charter of this business operation is to assist our dealers/resellers and customers with the successful planning and implementation of their specific applications and technology needs in an ever-changing applications and technology environment. We, as your strategic partner, are responding to the same competitive challenges as those faced by other PBX manufacturers and their distribution channels.

In the past, NEC has manufactured or produced many flexible and successful telecommunications, video, data and software products. As NEC invests and develops new technology and applications, we also invest in the resources necessary to understand and take these applications through the test, evaluation, release, and evolutionary lifecycle of the product. With the announcement of NEC Professional Services, we are increasing our commitment to our products, dealers/resellers and customers with the professional resources, experience, and training for the successful fulfillment of the goals and use of the products were designed to achieve.

The Who, How, and When of NEC Professional Services

The services offered in this program will grow as we add new products, technologies, and capabilities. We have the experienced and professional staff who are dedicated to making our dealers/resellers successful.

The primary focus of services is based on merging technologies and products. Examples of these type technologies and products are :

    • AIMWorX
    • Voice over IP, Frame Relay and ATM
    • CTI and OAI
    • Unified Messaging
    • Call Center Applications for NEAX2400 and NEAX2000
    • QueWorX
    • FCCS and Other Networks
    • Video and Multi Media

However, all active NEC products can receive professional services support.

We anticipate the professional services operation will greatly enhance the abilities of our dealers/resellers to expand their product offerings in a way they have never been able to before. We can help make new technology offerings happen much sooner in their markets and enhance their ability to get sales that were previously out of reach.

NEC Professional Services will continue to evolve with new services options as they relate to our customers.
